Not gonna lie my lovely subs, this week was rough for me. If you follow astrology at all, the full moon was recently upon us and Saturn is in retrograde…meaning that a lot of people may feel especially overwhelmed and drained. And this was my mood:

I try my best to be an optimistic person, but sometimes you’re stuck in the suck. And the only thing you can really do is ride out the sucky wave until a gentler wave comes that takes you where you need to go.

Lots of things I’ve been dealing with on a personal level and this week was SUPER HEAVY. But, I do think that this weekend and the coming weeks will be a lot better, even though my mood dictates otherwise.

Every day is another opportunity to start anew, so let’s ride it out together!

Lesson learned this week: we’re all just kind of winging it.

Unless you managed to find an omniscient deity walking among us mere Earthlings, NO ONE can accurately predict how things unfold.

We all just do the best we can and use data to the best of our ability to inform our decisions. And each decision has a probability of working out in our favor. We can certainly influence things based off of how much we do, but no one can ever truly guarantee you that things will 100% happen the way you want to.

Your boss cannot guarantee job safety.

That guru selling that course on Instagram definitely cannot guarantee you’ll make $100,000 in 3 months.

And I cannot guarantee to a job seeker that they can land a new job.

All we can say is what worked for other people because other people followed a set path and they already had certain qualities.

At best, we have blueprints of previous success and we wing along to see if we can achieve similar results.

Let’s drink/pour one out for this poor poor sap.
